Its time for winter and our annual membership drive. Please forward this email to anyone who may be interested in joining and supporting our local trails.
If you enjoy silent sports we encourage you to join our club and enjoy our local trails.
Our club maintains: 22 KM of cross country ski trails, 18 miles of fat bike trails, 24 miles of mountain bike trails, 4.5 miles of running trails.
Glide & Stride was formed in the Spooner area 30+ year ago to promote silent sports and a healthy lifestyle. Building and promoting trails systems for year round use has been a major focus for the group from its onset which has led to a strong youth ski league, high school ski team, various events and individuals excelling in silent sports.
Major projects have included partnering with the Spooner high school and city on trail building, grooming, lighting and maintaining Spooner city park trails; the Washburn county forestry department on the Wildcat mountain bike trails; and the Wisconsin DNR on the Beaverbrook Ski trails. The club encourages people of all ages to bike, ski, snowshoe, run and hike the beautiful Washburn county area.
Please join us and support our trails.
